This new film features Pelle, a kind-hearted and innocent tailless cat, who, after becoming separated from the little girl looking after him, discovers a secret cat city. Despite desperately wanting to go home, Pelle soon makes new friends; some who want to help him and some who may not be as invested in his welfare as he thinks. Fortunately, Pelle’s good-natured instincts ensure he never completely loses his way. Based on a series of classic Swedish children’s books that dates back to 1939, this 2D animated feature-film is designed to evoke the look of some of the film adaptations from the 1980s.
