The Ukrainian Film Festival Australia will showcase contemporary Ukrainian cinema, bringing to audiences powerful stories that reflect Ukraine’s creativity, resilience, and spirit. This important cultural initiative offers a meaningful opportunity to deepen understanding of Ukraine and support Ukrainian filmmakers.
The festival is presented by the Ukrainian Arts Council of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) in partnership with the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, the Ukrainian Council of NSW and the Association of Ukrainians in Victoria.
We are pleased to welcome the launch of the inaugural Ukrainian Film Festival Australia, taking place from Wednesday 27 May – Tuesday 2 June 2026.
