Silenced – Q&A Screening

Join us on Thursday 3 September for a special screening of the acclaimed documentary Silenced, followed by a live Q&A discussion featuring Human Rights Lawyer Jennifer Robinson, Principal Solicitor at Women's Legal Service NSW Pip Davis and award-winning journalist Amber Schultz, moderated by Katrina Bullock. 

Billed by Screen International as “an essential, galvanising watch,” Silenced follows international human rights lawyer and free speech defender Jennifer Robinson's fight for survivors of gender-based violence to tell their story.

Speaker Bios

Jennifer Robinson is an internationally renowned human rights and media lawyer and the central voice in SILENCED. A barrister at Doughty Street Chambers in London, she has acted in landmark cases before courts around the world, including the International Court of Justice. She is the co-author of How Many More Women?, the book that inspired SILENCED. In 2026, Jennifer was named the recipient of the Sydney Peace Prize for her outstanding global contribution to human rights, justice and fundamental freedoms.

Pip Davis is the Principal Solicitor at Women’s Legal Service NSW, a state-wide specialist community legal centre that aims to achieve access to justice and a just legal system for women in NSW. Pip has worked in community legal centres for more than 22 years. She is a member of the NSW Law Society Family Law Issues Committee, the Greater Sydney Family Law Pathways Network, and she sits on the Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault Council.

Amber Schultz is an award-winning journalist with a focus on justice and social affairs. Amber covers crime, courts, and justice with the Sydney Morning Herald. 

Katrina Bullock is an Australian lawyer and trusted broadcast journalist with extensive experience in high-profile litigation, regulatory investigations and corporate advisory matters. As General Counsel at the Environmental Defenders Office, and previously having served as General Counsel at Greenpeace Australia Pacific, Katrina has developed particular expertise defending civil society organisations against intimidation litigation and other legal threats designed to constrain public interest advocacy and campaigning. She has been named Lawyers Weekly '30 Under 30' Corporate Counsel of the Year, and has previously advised major Australian and international companies including Woolworths, Amazon, Optus, Commonwealth Bank and ANZ.
