Join us for a special screening of Life Could Be a Dream, a deeply emotional Australian film about freedom, joy and healing in the most unexpected places, followed by a Q&A with key cast and crew.

At 40, Sarah is coming to terms with a devastating truth: she’s trapped in an emotionally abusive marriage, sustained only by the fragile illusions of romance. As her 13-year-old son begins his own journey into adolescence, the dangers of staying in a toxic home become impossible to ignore—for both of them.

Seeking safety and clarity, Sarah finds temporary refuge in a deceased estate. Here, surrounded by ghosts of her past and dreams once cherished, she begins to face the deeper truths that have kept her bound. In this shared, transitional space, both mother and son slowly rediscover who they are—and imagine who they might become.

This screening will be followed by a Q&A with Jasmin Tarasi (director, producer), Maeve Dermody (lead actress), Gabriella Muir (editor), Clare Lewis (producer) and Elizabeth Tyler (MC).

Only on Monday 22 June at 6:30pm.
