The 11th annual Joy House Film Festival is a short film festival with the main theme of JOY and sub-theme of diversity.

It was founded in 2013 to give a platform for emerging filmmakers and for their work to be celebrated. The festival awards prizes for best film, best diversity film, best female filmmaker.

Judges include; Peter Thurnwald (It's Our Time/ X.O. Kitty), Bina Bhattacharya (From All Sides/ Here Out West), Adam Dunn (The Fall Guy/ Elvis) Nadine Tornay (W.I.F.T. acting chair) and Nazareth Alfred (Filmmaker).

This uplifting festival starts at 5:25pm at Randwick Ritz on Sunday 9th February 2025, followed by the theatrical release of It's Our Time, presented by Joy House Productions and Avenior Productions.
