WE'RE OPEN! HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us, so we're implementing a number of measures to ensure you're safe and comfortable during your visit to Ritz. These include and are not limited to:

  • spaced seating (those in the same household can sit together)
  • hand sanitiser stations in the foyer
  • card payments only 
  • capped capacity to ensure sufficient social distancing
  • staggered session start times and longer turnover between sessions
  • heightened cleaning regimes.

MASKS
Moving forward, all Ritz staff members will be wearing masks in compliance with the recommendations of the NSW state government. We also strongly encourage our patrons to wear a mask to the movies to help ensure our cinema is as safe and comfortable as possible for all.

Don’t worry, you can take your mask off while you're eating popcorn!

CAPPED CAPACITY 
In line with the state government’s eased restrictions for cinemas, we are increasing our capacity to 50% per theatre effective from Thursday 8 October. We continue to allocate seats, but with some changes. Patrons will still be able to leave two seats between themselves and other groups, however we will no longer block out every second row. We look forward to ensuring your next visit to Ritz is a safe and enjoyable one. Please reach out if you have any questions.

ALLOCATED SEATING
We're continually listening to your feedback and adapting our processes at Ritz Cinemas to make going to the movies safe and enjoyable for everyone during this time of restrictions related to Covid-19. That's why we've introduced allocated seating to Ritz. Allocated seating allows you to sit together with your group while also ensuring all groups keep a sufficient social distance between one another. Thanks for your cooperation while we transition to allocated seating for many of our sessions. 

Thanks once again for your patience, understanding and unwavering support throughout our closure due to the COVID-19 lockdowns. Our hearts were warmed by all the messages of goodwill from our patrons. Your palpable passion for film and cinema will hold us in good stead into the future.

MEMBERSHIPS
All current Ritz Royalty memberships were put on hold while we were closed. The validity of your membership has been extended by the amount of time that we had to remain closed.
