When it comes to freaky families, the Addams Family and the Munsters seem like the Brady Bunch when compared to the Floods in this ghoulishly funny Australian and Irish animation.
Betty is just like any regular 13-year-old. She goes to a normal school, has normal friends, and does normal things. Which is precisely the problem, because Betty Flood’s family is anything but normal. They are a magical, eccentric family from a faraway kingdom, hiding in the sleepy little town of Misty Falls. Betty loves her freakish family and wants to be just like them…but for that, she needs to learn magic.
An all-star voice cast includes Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter films) and Ardel O’Hanlon (Father McGuire from Father Ted) as well as local stars Miranda Otto and Richard Roxbourgh.
